Cloud technologies are now being adopted in organizations of all sizes. According to a recent study by IDG, 72% of organizations have at least one application or a portion of their technology infrastructure hosted in the cloud.

This is the first step into the cloud as businesses and government agencies experiment and investigate where they can gain value. As more applications and data are moved to cloud providers, concerns about performance, control, and speed arise.
